Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Answers to some frequently asked questions. Please look here first before emailing an administrator.

What does it mean to become a Stopbully.com member/supporter?

It means you have done one of the following:

  • Supported our program financially with a $20 donation or $100 donation – both of which are inclusive of GST. Your membership covers your $25.00 per person participation fee for our events (Most namely, our Annual Ride for Bully Awareness). You are not required to do anything else but are welcomed to become involved in other capacities such as volunteering or participating in Stopbully.com Events such as the Ride or Walk for Awareness.

  • You have volunteered in one of the many capacities available and received a free membership – email info@stopbully.com for more info on volunteer opportunities.  Your membership covers your $25.00 per person participation fee for our events. Please fill out our Volunteer Interest Form to be considered.

  • Or you have signed up at one of our booths and received a link to “LIKE” us on your Province’s corresponding “Bikers Against Bullying” Facebook page and sent us a private message with your special Supporter code – and have completed that request.

Are your Bikes and other Giveaways a raffle?

No – Our Giveaways are NOT raffles but rather a way to express appreciation to our members and supporters while meeting the objective of generating excitement and growing awareness for bullying and our organization. A raffle requires a purchase or “pay to play”. We do not require a purchase in order for you to be included in the next Member/Supporter Appreciation Giveaway. (Visit a StopBully.com/Bikers Against Bullying Awareness Booth in your community for details) Also – there is no correlation between the amount of free entries on any of our Appreciation Giveaways and the Giveaway itself. Therefore, unlike a raffle, there are no “odds” associated with being selected.

Free Memberships

There are two ways to obtain a free membership:

  • Free memberships are given on the basis of volunteer hours served. 1 hour gives you a base free membership. 5 hours gives you a silver free membership. All memberships are limited to one per person per year regardless of how obtained. Free memberships are not available to Stopbully.com employees, contractors or their immediate families – nor are the above eligible for “Member Appreciation Giveaways.” There are many ways that one can volunteer – contact info@stopbully.com for more details.

  • At any StopBully.com/Bikers Against Bullying booth, you can sign up to receive an emailed link to “LIKE” your Province’s corresponding “Bikers Against Bullying” Facebook page. After private messaging your code (given to you at booth) to the Facebook page, you are now a Supporter and are also eligible for that quarter’s Giveaway.

  • No purchase is ever necessary to become a Supporter and be eligible for one entry to receive a “Member Appreciation Giveaway” for that quarter – remember, this is NOT a raffle.

Does membership TO StopBully.com mean I am also a member of Bikers Against Bullying (212) if I ride a bike?

No – Stopbully.com memberships have nothing to do with the affiliated Bikers Against Bullying (212) Chapter Memberships. Please email chapters@212crew.com if you require more info on joining a local 212 Motorcycle chapter or to find out if one exists nearby.

Why do you give away Bikes?

We give away Bikes, and other items, to generate excitement for the organization, as one of StopBully.com and Bikers Against Bullying’s main awareness events is our Annual Ride for Bully Awareness. The giveaways are a great conversation starter at our Awareness Booths, where we fundraise through memberships and donations and it’s our way of showing appreciation to those who support us!
