Purses of Hope - Vancouver, BC

November 17, 2019 · Vancouver, BC I've had a few hours to gather my thoughts on the events that took place over the weekend. I can truly say that there were moments today that will remain with me forever. For many weeks, women (and men) from across the lower mainland had heard my plea to help our sisters living in the downtown east side. Purses of Hope would not have been possible without the kindness and support of friends, family, and the motorcycle community at large. I need to thank all the volunteers that came out Saturday to assemble the purses, and Sunday to distribute them. A Huge THANK YOU to Harmony Poisson for being one of the first to extend her hand, and Trev Deeley's HD for facilitating my endeavours. Many thanks to the brothers and sisters from Bikers Against Bullying Chapter 9, who not only collected items for the purses, but came down to assist and watch over their crew working on the Random Acts of Kindness - Matthew Martins legacy. Days like today make life's trivial problems seem inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. Hold your children closely and take nothing for granted. Letting those in need know that they are not forgotten is the greatest gift that we can give. Thank you. 🙏 Thank you! @Bikers Against Bullying - British Columbia Trev Deeley Motorcycles

Call for help - Breakfast with Santa

On the heels of a VERY SUCCESSFUL Purses of Hope event, I am ready to focus solely on an event to bring holiday cheer to 150 children/youth in care or from lower income families in our community. I need your help! If you are in a position to volunteer to help be an elf and serve pancakes to the kids, or help collect gifts from now until November 30, 2019, that would be AMAZING! We currently have several locations with big boxes collecting gifts for children/youth. You can see those listed in the events page posts 🎁Call out for Gift Donations and Volunteers🎁 My Organization, Chapter 9 - 212 Crew, Bikers Against Bullying - is working with Santa & Ms. Claus on a very "SPECIAL MISSION" that will help 150 Children & Youth in the lower mainland that are displaced or in need this Holiday Season. We will be serving a pancake breakfast with Santa and Ms. Claus, and there will be an opportunity for the kids to have their photos taken with Santa. All children/youth attending will get a gift that has been donated. We need your help to make this a VERY SPECIAL DAY for the kids! Here are a few things you can do to help: ☃️ Donate an unwrapped NEW gift for a child/youth ☃️ Come volunteer to serve the kids & help 🎅Nominate a child/family with kids in desperate need this holiday season who might want to attend! Gift Drop-Off Locations throughout the Lower mainland will be posted in the Event! (PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A VOLUNTEER/DONATIONS REQUEST) You do not need to attend the event unless you are volunteering your time. The children invited to attend are through MCFD/ Children in Care over the holidays.

Big shout out to our StopBully.com Sponsor of the Week - Dave and his team at Fountain Tire in Airdrie who repaired our 212 Truck's front end to get us back up and running again after this icy road hip cup a week ago on route to a StopBully/212 Event. Also our friends at Torrock Towing in Olds that sent two trucks and two men out in the frigid cold to join 212's Monster and JC who collectivity with Skid behind the scenes made the recovery back to the shop as painless as possible. Luckily some decent driving avoided what could have been a much worse outcome. Again thanks Dave - your team and support has been appreciated over the years....
